Hi
I have around 50k plus in my natwest account, unfortunetely the interest is only 1 percent if that. do you know of any good accounts with good interest? Would like to access my money anytime also, as I pay into it and somtime withdraw from it

The Lloyds Vantage current account pays 4% on balances between £5000 and £7000 provided you pay in £1000 a month. You can open three accounts, and transfers between them can be used to satisfy the funding requirements, so it can be used like an instant access high interest savings account.
The best instant access accounts after that pay around 2.8% (The AA, for example), with Natwest launching a 2.85% account soon. Alternatively, you might decide that you don't need instant access to all the money, in which case you could lock some up into fixed rate and term accounts for a higher rate of interest.
You should also make use of you ISA allowances if you are or expect to become a taxpayer. All of the above (with the possible exception of the Lloyds Vantage trick) are well covered by the corresponding articles on the main site.0 -

Have a look at the savings article, or use a comparison service like MoneyFacts.co.uk to suggest some accounts. You should be able to get 2%+ without problems, depending on your access requirements, like/dislike of bonuses, etc...
