Lash Extentions/Growth mascaras: did they work for you?

Im interested in trying rapid lash but did someone not post on here about can cause lashes to break off?0

I think that was a bit iffy. They were referring to some sort of beauty blog and the replies on the blog actually questioned whether the posters "recent lash extension" may really have been the cause of the lashes becoming fragile and breaking off. I think the point being, your eyelashes fall out anyway, just as your hair does and they are replaced. It may well be that anyone using a lash enhancer is going to be hyper aware of lashes falling out. I had gaps in my lashes before I used it but if they became gappy again, Id assume it was just the cycle of renewal - perhaps some people hadnt noticed the cycle of falling out/replacing before they used the stuff??0

I don't think I could ever do lash extentions! I had hoped others had tried and tested the lash growth stuff so I could get some real life experiences but I don't think anyone really understood! There are some brands which promise to make lashes grow and extend by xx% such as Revlon, Rimmel and Cargo.
I did try the Rimmel version which did look as though it gave me a lash extention naturally! I then changed to use the sample of Clinique I had, but my lashes had suddenly shrunk back to normal...I went back to using the Rimmel and they were lengthened again...I think its the formula and that as long as you stick to the same mascara (Rimmel for example) your lashes look as if they get longer, but change to something else and all the hard work has magicly vanished! Very odd and strange!0 -
Did understand Jennie and have given my positive feed back above on rapid lash (Post No. 6).
Rapid lash isnt a mascara , its a serum you paint on your eye lid just above your lashes - like putting on an invisible eyeliner - last thing at night.0 -

Thanks! (think you were one of the few that got it!) Was starting to think I was going mad and actually went back to reread my mascaras "promises" to see if I had invented the whole thing in my head- really thought everyone would have been more popular and that everyone would know about them!0
