its not the model that has the curved front to it is it? if is I have just sorted one out for a mate and it is a bit of a pain - Back plastic plate removed by clips top and bottom. That gives avcces to back and reveals the two sets of screws for the side panels. After removing these, sides come of by depressing two plastic clips and lifting side free.
    which numpty designed that....
dont confuse me with facts I need to think here!!!!

its got a back metal plate, thanks though
  • Might be worth doing a search in Google Groups - I've managed to find this so far -obviously you're not alone!
From the back it looks like the top cover has to go up...

Like anything - its easy when you know how! If you haven't already figured
it out, here's how its done (I have the same type of case, although not
provided with a Tiny PC inside I hasten to add) - remove the central rear
screw, grasp the sides of the case cover and pull forwards sharply - you may
find it easier to "clap" your hands onto the case will pulling them towards
you. The whole top, sides and front cover come off as one piece leaving just
the floppy and CDROM covers sticking out the front. Be aware that if its the
case with a headphone & mic socket there will be wires attached so don't
pull it too far away from the rest of the case before releasing these. You
shouldn't need to touch the triangular head screws.

Any chance of some pictures? This quite intrigues me.

I say pull and push it as hard as you can. Try not to leave foot prints.
