A shuttle bus operates from the central bus station at Dortmund main train station directly to Dortmund airport. It starts at 4.30 in the morning at the station, the last bus from airport to the station runs at 22.30. Journey time is approximately 25 minutes. Price is 5 Euro per adult and 2 Euro for children between 6 and 14 years, kids under six years are free of charge.
By train
Trains travel between Dortmund and Holzwickede train station eight times per hour.
A courtesy bus operates between Holzwickede station and the airport. It runs at regular 15-minute intervals between 05:00 hrs and 23:00 hrs from Holzwickede station, taking approximately 5 minutes to the terminal.

For the last week or so, I've been trying to find a bargain trip to the Munich Christmas markets for 2nd-4th December, 2 people, flights and hotels. But haven't had massive success on the price front. I came on MSE to see if anyone had posted anything and discovered a few of your posts on Berlin, Bremen and Dortmund which look like fantastic deals!

We'd really like to go to Munich on the above dates - do you know of any deals to Munich like the ones you have found for the other locations? Any pointers would be much appreciated.
