Tax credit help please

If you do the tax credit calculator does it tally up to what you recieve?

I have applied for a new job which pays more so was checking roughly what tax credits would drop too, but it came out as more than we get. So I checked using our current information and it says we shoud be getting approx. £115 a month more than we do. So i'm confused. I did query our payments when they changed after the new tax year, but they told me they were correct. So why is the calculator that far out?

  • Its actually always quite accurate when i use it .

i input all details and then just divide the amount it says im entitled to by the number of weeks left from now until 5th April.

Works for me...gives me my entitlement accurate to within £1.05.
