Looking for best passbook account

Hello again
Im now looking for a branch based passbook account .Im not bothered about withdrawls so that wouldnt be a problem ie 90 180 days notice etc.The best I could find was Northern Rock Branch Saver 90 which pays 2.5 per cent.It dosnt show up when you go to MSE and search for branch based accounts .I just wondered if any one knows of a similar account paying more than this rate ,like I said withdrawl notices is no concern to me as I wont be making any

If your location is as your username suggests, perhaps newcastle BS has something to offer. 5-year bond suggests it has branch access (though not sure if that means you get a passbook) and you do get access to your money with 120 days notice.

Roughly how much are you looking to save ? And will you be adding to it over time, or leaving it pretty much alone ?
