Which is best?

Bit random, but anyone any thoughts on which car is best out of the Ford Fiesta Zetec 1.4 petrol or Honda Jazz EST 1.4 petrol? Thanks in advance for any advice

Many people will always say Ford. Others, Toyota/Nissan/Honda/VW/whatever.

Both are decent cars. I do like the ford heated front screen even though I've never owned one.
Aren't Hondas near the top of reliability surveys on a regular basis?
would also depend on the year, spec and price of each.

Keen photographer with sales in the UK and abroad.
Willing to offer advice on camera equipment and photography if i can!
  • Honda. Neighbours got a y reg 1.4 thats been locally owned since new (same street) and needed nothing more than consumables. We've had a Fiesta and needed to replace discs for an MOT and again for the next MOT. Wheel bearings needed to replace rear shoes too.

I think the Honda's are usually owned by pensioners that do 1000 miles per year though, and get a dealer to service them every 6 months, replacing whatever they think they can.
Fords are run into the ground by everyone, so maybe the perception is slightly distorted.

I know people who have both the new shape Fiesta and current Jazz.
Both owners say their cars are good, comfortable, drive well etc. They are family people who do reasonable miles
The Ford probably has better looks.
The Honda probably has the better engine when looking at the petrol units.
So which is more important to you?

I would also check out the Honest John reviews on the Daily Telegraph website to get a good impartial opinion too.
Hoping this year is better than the last. :)
