Hi everyone
I want to treat my OH to a break away after a terrible few weeks. I'd really like a spa hotel or something similar.
We're based in Manchester but wouldn't mind driving to somewhere lovely. Only thing is I would like to keep the cost down as much as possible.
Any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks
Vanessa

Cottons spa in Knutsford do offers for short breaks, it's not far from you so you'd save on petrol costs too. If you wanted somewhere a bit nicer there's Rookery Hall in Nantwich which is pricier but lovely and in nicer location. You can get Rookery Hall through Handpicked Hotels who often have special offers on0

If you want to keep costs down how about Hill Valley Hotel, Whitchurch about a hour from manchester and you could probably get an over night stay for about £90. Its got pool/steamroom/sauna and spa area. Restaurant nice or cheap taxi into whtchurch for pub grub and a few beers :beer:0

I was in a similar situation to you and decided to head to the North Yorkshire region just for a nice getaway.
Stayed at the Wrea Head hotel and had a great time , the hotel was part of a chain called English Rose Hotels which have some amazing deals all year round.
