Santander Credit Card Website

Does anyone else have a Santander credit card? Their website is completely and totally useless! Firstly the login details they gave me sometimes work, and sometimes don't. It seems random whether I can actually login... When I am logged in, the direct debit options are either: 'pay in full' or 'pay the minimum'... no option to pay another amount, and no option to make an additional payment. Compared to the Egg website, Santander’s is god awful.
Does anyone know how to make additional payments? I want to pay the balance off before the 0% runs out. Please tell me I don't have to call them up?
I recently made a complaint... and it took about 3 weeks to get a response.

I dn't have a Santander CC, (wouldn't go near them) but what you mention about DD's is normal with all providers. You can either set it up to pay the minimum or full amount. No in betweens.0

Barclaycards website is easy to use and it does have 3 options - minimum / all / varied amount. I haven't been able to log into the Santander site for about a month now - I've given up!0

I find it very hard to believe that something associated with Satan-der can be useless....
I have a Satan-der card with a 0% balance transfer. When the time comes the remaining balance will be moved to another 0% card and the account closed. I have set up a Standing Order, which you could do as a one-off to clear the balance if necessary, so I don't have to do battle with the website.0 -

Wrong. Both my barclaycard and my egg card allow me to vary the DD amount online (obviously as long as it is above the minimum) and they both let you make additional payments, which my amex allows too.
But the question was: does anyone know how to make additional payments to my Santander Card??? Could I do it in a branch?
I've only had the card a few months, but I agree with the majority view; they are utterly useless.0 -

1. Pay in bank/branch using the Bank Giro slip (or just provide your card details in Santander branches for payment to 09-00-99 01000007). Or post the slip with a cheque or postal order to Santander Cards, PO Box 57329, Prescot Street, London, E1 8WF
2. Pay by bank transfer. Transfer funds to 09-00-99 01000007. Use your credit card number as your reference. I use this and the payment goes through by faster payments and is reflected on your credit card statement almost instantly!

I always pay mine by BACS, and I haven't been able to access my credit card account online for about 8 months. I've given up trying to get them to sort it out, and now only use the card when I'm on holidayDebt free and staying that way! :beer:0
