Visor or canopy extractor?

I'm planning a complete kitchen refurb and need to get an extractor. it will be canopy or visor due to the size of the kitchen, but my problem is that i can't work out the difference between these 2 styles.
It will not extract to outside.
Howdens proposed what is descirbed as a "conventional extractor" in their catalogue, I want to get it from somewhere else, just I don't know what to get exactly. Thanks

I don't like their selection. Anyway, I asked in Howdens and it's a visor type I need to go for.

where exactly does it extract to?! seems pointless getting an extractor fan that doesn't extract to anywhere or am i missing the point...
