    Monthly basis? That's odd, for me it's only about every 6 weeks.
    Santander are awful - mission in life is to warn people since 17-Sep-10, 18-Sep-10 realised one of thousands.
  • I have just had my first experience of Santander incompetence after many happy years with Alliance & Leicester.

    My online banking screen has changed today and it asked for 3 different numbers instead of the usual two. I tried various combinations without success. It rejected the 16 figure no on my debit card. All previous communications told me that I didn't need to do anything different when the change took place. Lies!

    I have spoken to various people on the phone and will have to wait 10 days to get my new online banking details through the post.
    I have made a complaint.

    Is this the "normal" sort of trouble you got when your A & L account migrated to Santander?

    From other posts I fear I may have a long wait before everything is running smoothly. Meanwhile I worry about not being able to check Direct Debits etc. I also want to see when my winter fuel payment goes in. I am used to being able to make online transfers. This is so frustrating - and I guess this is just the start?

    I am glad I have accounts with other banks that I can access meanwhile.
