Help with car parking fine

We have followed the advice to send a letter saying that my husband was not driving the car but the company has come back and said if my husband does not disclose the driver he will be liable at court as in the 2008 court case ackroyd vs thomas.
What can we do next. He does not want to go to court or have any County Court judgement against him. Should we take this seriously? The company is Parking Eye.

Plus the 2008 court case ackroyd vs thomas is not correct. The case was CPS v Thomas, Ackroyd was the judge, not the claimant0 -
They are trying to scare you. Do not contact them again and ignore all their letters.
If it helps, I collect Parking Eye invoices for fun and have never had a sniff of a court claim in 6 years despite trying to goad them into it.

Parking Eye are toothless scammers, I challenged them to take me to court but they chickened out. Please do not take their pathetic begging letters seriously.Still waiting for Parking Eye to send the court summons! Make my day!0

Parking Eye have never ever done court.
The only time they were in county court was in Preston when someone sued THEM. Parking Eye lost.
Ignore them. They're one of the more pathetic companies and easy to ignore.0 -
