I won an item last month I paid for it straight away by paypal as that is what the preferred method was showing. However I got a message to say that they would prefer cash on pick up so I said not a problem and that she could cancel the paypal that I had sent to them. I went round the next day with cash and paid, I am still waiting over a month later and the seller does not reply to any of my messages that I sent to her via ebay. Ebay have not been much help all they can say is you will have to contact the seller its like I am getting no where can anyone give me any help?

Sorry, you won an item, then had to pay for it. Did you not see the alarm bells ringing. Ok, cannot change that now, but have you hot the item you 'won'?

If so, did you pay by paypal, if so, raise a dispute.

I hope you have got a recipt for the cash payment though!!!

Stupid Question - if they wanted cash on pickup why did you go around, pay cash and walk away empty handed?

I think the OP has the item but has paid for it twice, once by cash and once by PAYPAL. correct me if i m wrong!!

I think she means that she hasn't received the refund from paypal yet, so paid twice for the item.
Can you not raise a dispute through paypal that you never received the item? Seller would need to provide a tracking no which they wont have.

OP post on the Ebay section.

But ashas been suggested stic in a claim that item has not been received and paypal will refund your money.

BUT you only have 45 days so get cracking.
