Anyone recommend any cheap homeplugs? Do they all do the same or is it worth investing in some slightly more expensive ones?
Thanks

So far there are available: 14 Mbps; 85 Mbps; 200 Mbps; and "gigabit". Divide by about 5 for practical data throughput figures in megaBITs, then divide by 8 to get megaBYTE figures. You may still be able to get 14 Mbps ones, but they are nearly extinct.
Price increases with the bigger numbers. I usually look through here to choose. See the diagrams at the top for ideas.0 -
I've had a couple of these, http://www.amazon.co.uk/Max-Value-Mbps-Home-Double/dp/B000TV7FJ4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=computers&qid=1285685571&sr=8-1 , running for 3 months now.
Can't comment other than they work!
They do run a little warm though. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
Id recommend the SOLWISE 200Mbs ones. Not the cheapest but very good and I believe the only ones that dont pollute the mains when no information is being sent
Depends what your to use them for though. If your not bothered about bandwidth then the 85Mbs should suffice:idea:0
