Hi
My laptop connects okay to my home wireless. When I am out I cannot access any other wireless set ups, McDonalds etc, message says No Connection to internet, yet wireless connection says good.
Any ideas ?

Did you manually assign an IP and/or DNS to the wireless adapter? It should be set to automatically via DHCP to work everywhere. Otherwise you would need to change it every time.0 -
Thanks
how do I set it up automatically via DHCP ?
Here's a howto for WinXP. Other Versions might differ slightly.

Thanks Tronator, I too was having the same problem. I'll follow the instructions within the link and see if it works as I'm out and about tomorrow and I'll be taking my laptop.
