Basic burning an MP3 to a cd question

How do I save mp3s on a cd that would be playable on a car stereo / machines other than a pc/laptop?
I have windows media player and Nero, but have only ever used media player to copy things on to a cd to play at work on the pc there.
It’s for a wedding rehearsal this week and I just wanted a quick pointer, would the mp3s loaded via media player play on a stereo or car cd player?
Thanks

If you have done one for work, then it is exactly the same, just burn to a cd in media player.
Good luck with th wedding0 -
Hi
It might not be exactly the same.
To play the CDs in a car stereo they will probably need to be burned as Audio CD (NOT as data).Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.0 -
Many cars do come with MP3/CD playback these days. I'd suggest you check the CD player in the car shows the MP3 logo or that the manual says that MP3 playback is possible.
When burning the CD , make sure the Disk is correctly "closed" or "finalised" for playback on any device.0 -
CD BURNER will do the job (Make sure you create a music cd, not just burn the data to a cd)

***EDIT***
Just realised you have nero which will do the job fine
Select to MAKE AUDIO CD:idea:0 -
You have Nero. Create an audio CD. Drag the MP3 files to the list of tracks and then burn. It'll convert it to an audio CD that'll work in any player.0

I've written an audio CD from MP3s using Real player.....0
