Hi,
Has anyone had this problem, or better still the answer.
whilst using Skype PC to PC and after about 10 minutes it reboots my PC. I have reverted back to an older version of Skype hoping to cure the problem, no joy there. This only happens when using Skype, general internet use is unaffected. I have plenty of ram and my CPU is more than powerful enough.
regards.

If I had to bet, I'd go for a problem with a device driver, but predicting which device isn't always easy. So I'd look to check for the latest drivers for all the motherboard devices and any graphics and sound cards.
Another thing to check would be whether there's a resource problem caused by Skype - for example a memory leak - though that sounds unlikely if you've successfully uninstalled and reinstalled an older version.
Also worth checking would be CPU overheating, though I don't ~think~ Skype is a particularly CPU-intensive, so this one seems unlikely as well.0
