budgeting loan

Hi, can anyone give me any details on a budgeting loan? we are in receipt of the qualifying benefits, is there a limit that a family with three children can apply for? i know they take into account any regular debts you have to pay and there are only certain things you can ask for the money to help with. Hi there. My information may be a little out of date but I saw that no-one else had spotted your query as yet so here goes! I applied for the loan about 6 years ago. The form asked how much you want and what it was for. The maximum amount at the time was £1000.00. I asked for the full amount and got a reply saying I could get £400 ish at x amount per week out of my benefits or £500 ish at x amount per week. It was my choice really what suited me.

yes my limits about 800.00, i have 3 children too

Thank you for your replies, does that £800.00 stand as an accumilation of Crisis and budgeting loans?
I'm not sure can you apply for both? we are leaving a furnished house to a unfirnished. I know i could apply for a CCG but it doesn't sound very hopeful of getting one.
