AA Breakdown Renewal

:(I have just received a notification from the AA that my breakdown insurance is due for renewal. They have quoted an extortionate amount of £128.50 for Roadside and Relay but if I take this out via a direct debit option I will pay £81.75.
I go on the AA's website and for the above they quoted £69.00, so why is there such a mis-match in price?
I may have to shop around and look elsewhere, I have been a member of the AA for at least 6 years and not had one call out.
Lloyds TSB bank account offers: AA Breakdown cover which includes:
AA Accident management
Roadside Assistance
Home Start
Relay
Stay Mobile - They offer you a car until yours is fixed
All of the above plus more benefits for £86.00 for the year!
Does anyone else have any ideas? Happy to shop around for a better deal in times of need!

Stay with the AA but tell them to match your like for like quote . No one should pay the first quote from the AA.0

Cancel and then go through a cashback website to bring the cost down even further.0

Thats what I did. wanted £115 to renew where it was on their site for £95. Called them up and said I wasn't happy after being a customer for 3 years with no call outs, charging me more than a new customer. Wouldn't budge so cancelled it. Went through Quidco and got the £95 price with £45 cashback. £115 down to £50 :beer:0
