  • Not me stalking you tonight then Lurks! :p Cooking away in my kitchen at the moment is a pan of HM Mediterranean tomato sauce, in which some fresh sardines are cooking gently, and in the oven is a tray of potato wedges......with a packet mix for the coating which we found in the larder. It will be interesting to see how it tastes considering the sell by date on the packet was sometime in 2003!:D

toby carvery was amazing, I had beef, turkey and ham with all the trimmings with lashings of gravy, horseradish and cranberry sauce, all washed down with a pint of orange and lemonade and followed by ice cream with butterscotch sauce. I was stuffed all night long!

Miss P, my mum and dad used to take me to the beefeater too, I remember the cocktails with little cocktail umbrellas and glace cherries. Didn't they have a mascot thing as a bear? I remember bringing home a bear thing on a stick which was the stirrer for my cocktail?

No laptop here, its still in the menders, need to get it back today cos its DS' birthday and we got him an ipod nano and we need to download his music. Also bought him a buzz lightyear when they were on half price in Mr S, bluddy brilliant it is, its interactive, it even tells you off if you open his helmet when he doesn't want it open :rotfl:

Happy birthday to your DS jo, he's in good company, today's the birthday of the Prince of Wales and my brother!!

P.S.So glad you all enjoyed the carvery.
  • Roast pork for us today, DH will be cooking (as usual :T) when we get back from town later. I was going to chop the pork joint up and put some back for a caserole later in the week, but I think we will end up scoffing the lot.
This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
    Fingers crossed x

  • Not ate nearly so well today. OH was in charge of lunch so we ended up with sausage, beans and oven chips :rotfl::rotfl:

Luckily my fabulous Mum has made me a gigantic chocolate birthday cake for tomorrow (chocolate fudge frosting and edible glitter!!:T)

OH and I are having pizza and garlic bread whilst watching X Factor and I'm a celebrity. Yum....

Jo - yes, I had those stirrer things too!!:T Used to love going for meals there. Felt so grown up asking for a purple people-eater or a Red Devil :rotfl::rotfl:
