That sounds like an amazing 'job' you've got there Marru :rotfl: serious though, what's the actual job and people like?
Absolutely love itand people are all very nice. We should be able to move into a nice little bungalow next Saturday so fingers crossed.
Porridge for breakfast and as I have been left on my lonesome I have hit the chocolate biccies to go with my cup of tea.
BF said something about steak for lunch or tea :j(he thinks I am not eating enough protein, especially the red variety)

Its delicious and we only tell other folk its made from very wierd stuff to make sure you don't eat it.
Ah yes, built for running round mountains that beastie!I'm afraid your cunning plan failed to work here - we love the stuff, although I wasn't too sure about the idea of the haggis & black pepper crisps I saw in Lidl yesterday! :rotfl:
Pen that brekkie did indeed sound glorious! Must get around to making dropped scones again soon too. Actually, just remember to chase my friend for the welshcakes recipe she was going to send me!
Had a delicious lunch here - but completely stuffed now! Inspired by Jamie Olivers steak sarnie from his 30 minute meals series we did steak (lidl - £1.14 per pack!) with mushrooms, grilled peppers (over the gas flame!), chilli & garlic on freshly made ciabatta bread. OOh - roast chicken - piri piri chicken - haggis - steak sarnies - all sounds lovely.
I'm making a Jamie Oliver chicken pie and bought a big tub of creme fraiche and I only need 2 tablespoons of it. Anyone got any ideas what I can do with the rest of the tub. I'd hate to waste it. Cookery ideas only please

You can freeze it into portion sizes if you don't want to use it
Or make a pudding with it
Or make soup and add the creme freche to make it a creamy soup
Or make a curry
I'd freeze it in portions in bags if it were me!
