    Hello better late than never

    Um yorkie puds......................

Fail safe always work - :)

    1 cup plain flour
    1 cup milk
    2 eggs
(no salt they won't rise if you add it - and if you use self raising by mistake they don't work either)

Beat to a pulp with a whisk - ideally let sit for a couple hours in fridge but works if just bung straight in after making
Hot oven - blazing unbelievably hot - with a bun tray or a big tray with oil to just cover the surface - 1/2 tsp in a bun thingmy each or about 2-3 spoons in a big tray.
They need to get really hot before you put the mix in or it doesn't rise. - If you're short of time heat up the bun trays with the oil in on the stove til it smokes.
Pour the mix into 12 smoking bun bits - or into a big tray
    Bake 15-20 mins
Voila - the two eggs help the yorkies to rise if you're happy with 'flatter' yorkies then use one.

We use this mix for toad in the hole - putting the sausages in the hot tray (raw) before we put the batter in, again bake 20 mins.

    Yum yum.

All family left the island - phew! Waves hello

Did you walk home, Doc?

    :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    eta : a cup? That's a vague measurement, isn't it? :o

:DNeigh, neigh, and thrice neigh :D

No I didn't walk home lol I've just been invaded for over a week

LOL................a cup is a normal baking measurement - better than hauling out equipment all the time :D

    1 cup flour = 128 g = 4.5 oz

Runs in, 'expresso please!!!', checks watch, taps foot and fingers impatiently, expresso delivered, chucks it down neck, throws money on counter and runs out.

Here as in new work or the diner??? :D

    Hi Marru,
Nice to see you..............hope all's well with you and your daughter.

Been to the dentist so haven't been able to have much tonight. Thought of soup, but then remembered dentist said no hot food/drink :(

Settled for Moroccan cous cous with chickpeas and fresh coriander - was very nice!

Debating whether to try a chocolate cornetto........although the dentist may have mumbled something about no cold when she said no hot food/drink :D;)
