I did see doc about cough the other week, told him the first lot of AB's didn't work, he had a listen and said it's a virus not an infection so that's why they didn't work. Woke up with a cold today on top of it all :(

Corned beef sarnie and pack of crisps for brekkie, dunno bout lunch yet.

Minced lamb with curry leaves and chilli last night, very very nice. Will try the chicken and fenugreek one before I decide if I want to splash out a fiver on the book :rotfl:

Glad you're looking after yourself jo, but do go back to GP if you're still rough.

Sorry to hear Piglet's still poorly. Year R often pick up everything that's going because they find the first year tiring plus all the germs they're exposed to. Will you have any time off with him next week MissP?

Sorry this is a delayed reply - this was about mushy peas!! "Bigga" dried peas - the marrowfat ones need soaking for 12 hours but they also do some that only need 2 hours & they're virtually as good!! OH says not, being the pea connoisseur , but I always do the quick ones. Both sorts then need to be simmered for 20 mins. I lke them better than tinned cos they're not so runny but even more because you add salt & sugar to taste & I add neither (tho I do simmer them with a stock cube).

    Enough about peas!!
