Sounds like he's playing ostrich then..... Goodness It's Tricky eh!! Chin up Jo - just stck to your guns and keep repeating yourself. Maybe offering to help him find a flat to move into might bring it home a bit?
Food this week has been very planned and organised. I feel quite proud! Last night was cheaty pasta - jar of sauce from M&S (Half price offer! :money:) and meatballs made by squeezing blobs of sausagemeat out of the sausage casings! Bit of courgette and red pepper....well, alright then, a courgette and a red pepper which desparately needed using
and it was rather nice. Tonight will be omlettes as MrEH is rugby training (AKA running around a field getting utterly caked in mud) - as there are still two sausages left over (Note to self - a pack of sausages can be made to do two meals by the cheats-meatball / slice thinly to add to an omlette method!
) I think they will be going in along with some mushrooms. 🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Quiet in this 'ere diner! Everyone off frequenting other places??:p
Pasta with pesto for lunch, and it will be freezer surprise for dinner as am working 4-8pm tonight. Thought I'd have a nice easy day of it but ended up cleaning the house top to bottom....still, earned me some calories!

Sorry, I've been all over the place this week. Hope everyone is well x
Cheese and ham sarnies for brekkie, cheese twist for lunch and DH is making a chilli for tea
Might have to be creative cooking for the rest of the month - raiding the cupboards and freezer cos my purse is empty. Good job the boys will eat anything and we've got plenty of choklit left from Chrimbo. This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
Fingers crossed x0 -
Gammon, sweet potato wedges, mushy peas, tomatoes and mushrooms here later. Just made a big pot of lentil soup to see me through next week's lunches.
Special offers are usual to bring in the punters in January. Any chance?0 -
Finally got around to make the lamb burgers served with HM potato vedgies. Full marks from DD. And I have enough burgers left for one meal for both of us and one lunch for me.
Jo - hope you are ok"Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."
