Had a good day though aside OH being a twot, met with a dear mate earlier who cheered me up no end and just eaten McDs :D

Delighted to hear that jo (not so much the McDs) but that you spent some time with a mate.

It was in Dobbies Garden Centre Maman, does that count??:rotfl:(and Dad paid bless him, although he says eating in garden centre restaurants makes him feel he's in an old peoples home...:D:rotfl:)

Of course it counts, all better than cooking for yourself.

I'm with your dad. I have a friend who has introduced me to the wonderful world of tea rooms and garden centre restaurants (most of my mates meet up in pubs and wine bars:o) and I know exactly what he means.

    Morning diners!:D

OH still snoozing in bed, enjoying a lay in without Piglet here! So I'm quietly rustling up sausage, bacon, egg, fried bread, tomatos and beans for him for breakfast when he gets up!:D

Means nothing for lunch as we'll still be full....and think it'll be a freezer special for dinner!

Yeah Lurks, 50p an hour, we agreed this yeah, 23.5 hours a day 364.5 days a year :D

So when you are going to send him his paycheck for £4,282.88?

Jo - I would kick him out now. Kids are not stupid, they can sense that things are not right. I always get a rash when people do things "for the sake of the children" as I think that is too much responsibility and guilt piled on kids. (Been there, done that, no t shirt) And xmas might give them a bit of a distraction. Imagine having xmas over AND the brown stuff hitting the fan at the same time.

I am at BF so that he can distract DD and I can study. We had some nice gammon with spuds and veggies for lunch yesterday. Don't know what we get today but I do know that there is rather nice HM cherry cake somewhere here. Everybody else have gone to church so I just might go and have some :)

Oh and Jo. Where I come from we have pork instead of turkey for xmas. So I shall finally try your SRP for our festives. Can't wait :p

If you get a big joint, try pulled pork sandwich with the leftovers. I did this last time and it was delicious

Miss P, I am starvin! You are such a lovely wife, you really are :)

    Morning Lurkins :)

Marru, I was joking about paying Lurks, he doesn't do a very good job and so doesn't deserve it. I am so made up that you are having SRP for xmas dinner. You've given me an idea, if me and OH are still together on xmas day I might serve it up meself ;)

ETA: how many SRP Sundays can we fit in between now and xmas day.....oh jeez he'll be so sick of it :rotfl:
