Yet another meal out MissP:D, only last week you told us there was no more high life until Christmas.
.
It was in Dobbies Garden Centre Maman, does that count??:rotfl:(and Dad paid bless him, although he says eating in garden centre restaurants makes him feel he's in an old peoples home...:D:rotfl:)**Keep Calm and Carry On!**0 -

Not sure how old your kids are Jo - but in due course they are going to realise that you are currently going through weeks of hell for their sake - I wonder how they will feel about that at that stage, although given a choice between causing them pain now, and pain later, pain later would win every time I'm guessing. The other thing is how obviously difficult is christmas going to be in any bcase - are the kids going to be aware that things "aren't right" in any case - in which case they may end up more distressed as they may well decide that something "worse" is wrong IYKWIM. Do you have any friends whose parents went through anything similar that you could discuss it with? It's a truly horrible situation for you though and my heart goes out to you having to deal with it.
Lunch here was pasta with mushrooms, chorizo and parmesan (getting 4 x 500g bags of pasta recently for 20p a bag is having a dramatic effect on our meal plans here!) and tea is about to be cheese, crackers etc.
:D Got a lump of mutton shoulder marinating in a spice rub in the fridge ready to be cooked very very s-l-o-w-l-y tomorrow for dinner so already looking forward to that one!

The situation is no different to how it's been for the last 20 years EH, it's just that I've decided I want out and he hasn't come to terms with that. There's no change for OH, he's oblivious, even though I've told him the same.
Had a good day though aside OH being a twot, met with a dear mate earlier who cheered me up no end and just eaten McDsDFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -
