Insure4Excess - Excess Protection

I bought a product to protect my excesses this year. After having very few claims, when I did claim last year on my home insurance, I have to pay a £500 excess!!!! I nearly fell off my chair! So this year, I thought I'd get clever, and looked on the internet for some excess cover/protection. I bought the product online, it was extremely quick and easy. I phoned to pay, and spoke to a fab women, who made sure I understood everything. I claimed on my policy last week, and to my surprise it actually worked! My excess was £500. I had bought the gold product for £59, and therefore have saved myself £441! I am thrilled to bits, and am just surprised that noone seems to have heard about this idea! I searched on this website first to see if there were any tips, but nothing! Has anyone else out there heard of it? Am I the only one? Its genius?

I've done it also

Jacked my excess up and bought excess protection, helps me get lower insurance and in the event of a claim at least I'll get my excess back
