Buy It Now query

Last night I had two BUY IT NOW offers on items I have listed with no bids.

I'm happy to accept both offers but would welcome some advice please.

If I do a BUY IT NOW price, couldn't someone else pop up and buy it before the other person, or is it a case of first come first served, or is there a way to do a BUY IT NOW for a specific bidder?

i generally just cancel the auction when this happens, he pays you via paypal and its all safe

many will say thats wrong, as trading off ebay is against their rules and leaves u little cover if it goes wrong

If you set up a BIN and someone buys before him, then yes, you have to sell to the buyer technically

If there are already bids on ur item im not sure you can add a BIN, but i may be wrong

If a seller breaches ebay t and cs too many times they will get banned. No doubt the BIN offers came via ebay so ebay will have a record of that, so there is a link when that item then suddenly disappears.

Wow. well done! Search completed listings to make sure you haven't overlooked something wonderful in the item..and if you are sure of your price just add a BIN and email the person back and tell them you have done so. If someone else should happen along and buy it first, at least it is sold!
