Hi money saving peeps, so I had my shopping delivered last night from MR T's, after the delivery guy pushed the door open with his shopping crates and broke my blind which fell on my head (ouch) I was happy to see all 10 of my persil colour 10 washing powders gleaming up at me, however this morning I have noticed that I have been charged £2.85 per box, totalling £28.00 odd, fuming I rang them and told them that when I placed my order they were advertised at £0.71p, she told me I was totally wrong and that even if they were, they would be subject to a price change and that if I wasn't happy to go to my local tesco for a refund!!!!! Grrrrrrrr
I nipped to my local tesco and asked for a price check on a box and it was confirmed that they are indeed £0.71p, so I have now bagged them all up and am about to go back and challenge them, could you lovely peeps tell me if I am entitled to DTD back as I would like to stand my ground but don't want to make a prat out of myself, I'm a single mum and didn't budget for spending an extra £30 odd on this weeks shopping bill. Thanks and rant over phew!!!Thriftkitten

I also got charged £2.85 per box, and 35p for the bio, I rang CS last night and they told me exactly what they told you. I then sent an email with a screen dump showing that it was not a special offer as the product above the colour wash was on special offer with the dates starting and finishing.
I also advised that I would not return the product to store as this totally defeats the object of me paying for a delivery and requested that a delivery driver comes and retrieves the products.
I am now awaiting their e mail response.Thriftkitten wrote: »Hi money saving peeps, so I had my shopping delivered last night from MR T's, after the delivery guy pushed the door open with his shopping crates and broke my blind which fell on my head (ouch) I was happy to see all 10 of my persil colour 10 washing powders gleaming up at me, however this morning I have noticed that I have been charged £2.85 per box, totalling £28.00 odd, fuming I rang them and told them that when I placed my order they were advertised at £0.71p, she told me I was totally wrong and that even if they were, they would be subject to a price change and that if I wasn't happy to go to my local tesco for a refund!!!!! Has anyone got a screen dump they can email me as I have just had a call from Tesco regarding my refund and stated that it is coming up as £2.85 but they will ring head office and try and sort my refund and wait for them to contact me?! So if I could have a screen dump as evidence that would be great!:xmassmile**New** Thrifty Gifty Money Making for Christmas and all occasions 2012**:xmassmileMember No. 11 of Happy Chappy's Clip Strip Club!

Ok, I'm back from Tesco and after being at customer services for well over an hour standing my ground it all came out in the wash ( scuze the pun!)
Ok, I went in first to check on price of Persil colour 10 and found it to be £2.85, so I went to customer services and explained that when I had done an online shop 2 days ago it was advetised as £0.71p, but that I had been charged the NOW shelf price of £2.85 per box and subsequently my shopping had come to a lot more after having 10 boxes delivered, The CS told me there was nothing that they could do as that was the correct price, only off a refund if I wasn't happy, I explained to her that I had also called the Cardiff head office earlier this morning for a quick price check this morning only to be told that it was indeed £0.71, so how did they explain that, the manager came out and argued the toss and called T.com and he then said "Your wrong", the price has always been £2.85.
By this time I was really starting to boil and demanded the thompson directory for which I called back to Cardiff head office again for another price check, a different person answered and confirmed once again £0.71p and of course I asked her to repeat it so that Manager of my local store could hear!
He apologised to me and agreed to sell me all 10 boxes for the lower price and refund me £21.00 that I had been over charged,(In went the debit card for a refund)
when I got home I called T.com back and spoke to the same shirty manager who was quite off with me previously and asked him what he thought about Cardiff's price check, I also stated that I would NOT be placing another order with .com again as it was not the kind of customer service I expected for my hard earned money, he agreed to investigate and called me back to tell me that the Cardiff man would be disciplined for stating the wrong amount!!!!!
I couldn't believe what I was hearing, I said "Oh how amazing that he just happened to come up with the exact amount", and that he was merely telling me what he had on his screen and had done nothing wrong and the only person that needed disciplining was the person who is supposed to check all the data on the pricing system!!
He then told me that JUST THIS ONCE would they agree to sell me these boxes at 0.71p and was refunding £22.00 to me(I have a confirmation email of refund for £22.00 from head office), of course I didn't tell them that I had already been given a £21.00 refund and all 10 boxes from the local store, leave that muppet to sort it out himself seeing as he thinks everyone else is doing their job wrong!!!
So I have come home quite happy, maybe a little embarassed for standing my ground infront of quite a few locals in my small town!!
Will I get 2 sets of refunds and the powder??.... who knows with Mr T's.Thriftkitten
