i think amend is better than putting another order as your order will be pick up by the same store anyway. also in my experience if u put more than enough amount it will trigger the system and would not let you order more but in times like this, the customer service will tell u that u are only allowed certain amount and yes, they wil make u feel like its your fault that the price is cheap.

Thanks Iv'e just tried to amend my order but the iems are now out of stock, i can rememeber if i clicked for substitutions or not,is there anyway to check?

Got my delivery today. I ordered 20 in total and only received 10 so maybe the limited to 10 per customer must be right although it should tell you that and stop you from ordering more.

I received 5 persil colour and 5 substituted persil non bio. Upon inspecting my receipt this evening I have been overcharged £7.10 although it says price matched they have not price matched it correctly.

Phoned customer services who said they have to try and get hold of the store and will call me back.

Thanks OP. Got a couple at my tesco extra. SEL showed full price but scanned at 71p :-)

:mad::mad::mad: Had ordered (1st time) some Persil and normal shopping. Just now, I tried to add a couple of other food items in the order, only to realise the item I added is now the only one showing as in 'my basket' when I click on 'My orders'. I did go through the checkout stage as stated to confirm changes. I 70p item with £4 delivery! I cancelled the order. I really cannot be bothered placing a whole order again, which although they have their 'favourites' section does take ages, and there is no price low-high button if you just want to search items. Really annoyed now. May do the whole thing again later if I have time.

Hello moneysaving buddies

First post, so here goes.

Ordered the Frizz Ease hair products from Tesco's during the last glitch ** but ** as new to this, only the small number that was confirmed would be honoured (whatever that number was). I would have been happy with a bigger order to see me through a longer period, but 'respected' the cap as wasn't willing to risk it.

This time around I took the risk and ordered a years worth to see what would happen.

I placed the following order:


Persil Powder Bio 10 Wash/850g x65 £22.75

Comfort Naturals Olive Blossom 42 wash/1.5L x 34 £14.96


The following (mostly Tesco's own) substitutions arrived:

In place of Persil Bio:

Tesco value Bio Powder 2kg x11

Vital Fresh Automoatic Bio 800g x6

Surf Powder Tropical 10 Wash 800g x1


In place of Comfort Naturals:

Tesco Conc fabric Cond Blue 1.5L x17

Tesco Conc fabric Cond Green 1.5L x9


So, not a single box of what I initially ordered.

What do you all think?

Received my order tonight however they put in Tesco Colour powder as a substitute - I ordered 8, however they only substituted 6 and charged £5.68. which was the price for the 8 Persil at 71p which in my mind, they should have just charged me for the 6 at 71p as I only received 6 boxes of the Tesco powder IYKWIM, so in theory they have over charged me £1.42 - do I let it go or do I phone as I know what I mean but cant quite get it across!

edit: Well I phoned Tesco and the chap was great he refunded the £1.42 so I queried about double the difference as Tesco's policy states- he had never heard of it so I explained about the display cards at each Tesco Customer services so he said 'never heard of it but I will give you it for effort, so 6 packs of powder for £5.58-£2.84= £2.74!!! result!:T:j

woohoo - go suzybloo- just about as good as the 1p glitches - 3p a load!

curlysue - think you pushed it a wee bit ordering 65! how much did they charge you was it the same as if you'd got the original order

after having my 9 boxes of bold(25 wash) delivered today at 89p each had a look in another smaller local store tonight and none at all persil sel was there for 71p but shelf was empty. Still found the bold 24 pack liquitabs(20 pack of same is £3 odd) knew website said 1.18 but no sel so happily took one to empty cashier had it scanned and yes 1.18 instore too, only got 4 left plenty on shelf. also found 3 more of the all about bodywash at 12p each quite happy now. as for ordering amounts like 40 or 50 of each i personally think thats far too many. even with a £4 del charge 2 or 3 seperate orders would have been a huge saving and you would have prob had more chance of recieving the correct order.
