Malware removal and user accounts question

This is probably a very dumb question so apologies in advance! 
I have been a prat and I'm in the process of going through the malware removal steps (not on this computer).
I've had to run SUPERAntiSpyware from a pen drive as internet access is blocked.
I'm doing this from a non-admin user account (the one the problems occurred on) but do I need to be using the admin account to get rid of it?
It asked for the admin password to run so is that the same thing?
It's Windows 7 btw.

admin password is running as an administrator, but youll be running as admin from the other account
Try this too ~
Reboot and keep pressing F8 to get into SAFE MODE WITH NETWORKING. Assuming the net then works ~
Download MALWAREBYTES (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')

Open malwarebytes and goto UPDATE and click 'check for updates'. After its updated goto SCANNER and click PERFORM QUICK SCAN then click SCAN
Remove everything thats found (needs to be ticked)
Post the COMPLETE log here AFTER youve deleted everything it finds
If anything was found then do the exact same but run a FULL scan
reboot
Download HIJACK THIS (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')

Click MAIN MENU then DO A SYSTEM SCAN AND SAVE A LOGFILE(Takes seconds) then post the log so we can see whats running
(do NOT do anything else with Hijack but scan and post the FULL log)
If you get a message that you cant write to the hosts file then Press the SHIFT key, and whilst holding it RIGHT CLICK and select RUN AS (admin):idea:0 -

I have internet access in safe mode.
I'm just running SUPERantispyware again but in safe mode this time and will download and run the other stuff after.
I ran it in normal mode and asked it to remove the issues it found but I'm guessing it may not have removed it all completely?0 -

It was anti spy safeguard that had taken over - or that was the worst one anyway, but it didn't pop up in normal mode as it was before.
I can also connect to the internet in normal mode now.

It was an MSE hoax that I fell for last night! Clicked on it even though I loaded up MSE and could see all was well - what a prat!
