Butternut squash
My husband came home from the allotment yesterday with a good size butternut squash that is still not very yellow. Will it ripen up on the window sill, or is that it now?
Should we leave the others on the plant to keep growing/ripening or pick and put on window sill?
Also, can we eat it if it doesn't ripen further?
Many thanks for reading.
