Baby food & Flying

Morning all,
Heading off to the south of Spain in a couple of weeks with my wife and two kids. Youngest is 9 months and so is still taking formula. We are flying easyjet from Glasgow. Can someone clarify the rules on how we take milk on board. We can't make the milk up before hand as it will be unusable by the time we need it. Can we take the powder on board along with a baby bottle filled with water?
Easyjet's website states the following:
You are able to take baby milk onboard; you will be required to taste the milk while passing through security. Liquids must be held in bottles containing less than 100ml. As baby bottles are generally smaller than that you should not encounter problems at security but you are advised to check the size of the container.
We have Avent bottles for my son and they are all 250ml made up with 210ml of boiled water.
Does anyone have experience of what happens?
Thanks,
Kevin

I used to take cartons of readymade formula. I would take a few, & if they asked me to taste it, I would open one & take a sip. To be honest though, i've only ever had to do it once. You can buy cartons of most brands of formula from Boots when you go through passport control. You can call to check they stock your brand beforehand. The powdered formula wont be a problem for you take through if you wish, but you WONT be able to take water through.COMP WINS FOR HUBBY & I SINCE SEPTEMBER:2 £50 DOMINOS VOUCHERS, 13 PAIRS OF FOOTBALL TICKETS, MICROSOFT HOME EDTN, 2 PAIRS OF ALTON TOWERS TICKETS, 1 CASE OF PERCY PIGS, 1 PAIR OF LEATHER LADIES GLOVES, 4 COLLECTION 2000 PRODUCTS, PLAYSTATION 3 WITH FIFA 12, 5* HOTEL STAY IN LONDON, SEASON 6 OF SUPERNATURAL DVD, PERFECT PIZZA VOUCHER0

Just back from a holiday in Spain with my daughter and 3 month old grandson. She took powder and 2 bottles of boiled water and was asked to taste both bottles of water but that wasn't a problem. The same thing happened on the way home.0

going to europe we had to taste the milk/juice and as said containers need to be 100ml or smaller.we found the easiest thing to do is have powder and boiled water or pre made cartons.
flying out of Miami in march no need to taste the childs drinks the TSA over there used a paper dip type thing to test it.0 -
We've flown with our baby several times. We normally take baby bottles of water and powdered formula. We've been asked to taste the water each time, so this is fine. We've done this at Norwich, Luton and Stansted airports.
For baby bottles, the 100ml rule does not apply - our bottles are a combination of 150ml and 300ml ones. You just have to present all of them at security and be prepared to taste them.
