Hi does anyone know if you will get an incressed in family tax credit it you JSA has run out? my daughter works 2 days aweek, and has one child aged 2, her parner was made redundent, and claimed JSA. he found another job, but then sadly in a short space of time lost that one. now as the claim ran on from the last one its has run out, so now they are I think £200 down, till he finds some more work will there family tax credit go up? my daughter seems o think it wont, im worry for them as now they will really stuggle..

No it wont go up, they are probably getting the highest they can.
Why is she only working 2 days? Can she not get more hours or a different job?0 -

Why does a small child stop her working more hours? Does it cause childcare issues? What is her partner doing while he is job seeking? Can he not look after the child so your daughter can work more hours?0
