You can't "claim" anything for money that was borrowed.
Wasn't all the finances sorted out as part of the divorce settlement ?"Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -
What are you looking to 'claim' back? If you mean charges and ppi then it would depend whether the cards were in his name or not, if they were then yes he should be able to - check the guide at the top of the forum.0

BofE +0.19% Tracker Repayment Offset Mortgage Discounted Sept 07-10 then increased to BofE +0.62% until 20270 -
There was about 4 credit cards all with charges but 2 loans that were forged in his name but wondering whether the miss sell etc would come in0

if they really were forged, then the police should be involved. They will, of course, want to know why it took you five years to contact them though, and rightly so too. They' also love to know why it was being paid if h genuinely did not know what these were for.
You really should read up about Section 78 of the CCA too - it's the thing all these "misselling" bandwagonners are latching onto.
Only a few cases have been upheld and there have often been circumstances involved that cannot be discussed outside of the courtroom.
If you want to "claim back" the money that was used and borrowed, then I don't understand - Banks are NOT free money dispensers. Like it or not they're not charities and are not there to give you money for free.0
