Scottish hydro current prices for Go Direct 5 ??? website out of date , atlantic con
well what can i say ...
been with atlantic for years and always told on best tariff , npower came knocking tonight i called atlantic for dual fuel consumption and told them npowers rate..
all of sudden was told "" oh you can move to our partner company scottish hydro and save £200 a year...on the go direct 5 tariff
i have looked for charges and on there site last update 1st april 2010 however uk power comparison site has per pence higher so an official site is out of date??
i use 20000 kwh per year gas and 5500 in electric either eon saver 3 or npower online 19 are best deals mind u npower discount is a bit fly as end of 12 month......
may still be worth moving to scottish southern...
eons gas table of up to 2680 is well below industry standard of 4572 so loads of saving on gas

I too was with Atlantic and when I decided that the increase from £101 monthly to £110 they too told me about Go Direct 5 and payments £80 for the same amount of Electricity.
Now I am thinking of moving to Scottish Power as their units price is cheaper that the Go direct.

You tend to find that companies with a smaller Tier 1 (e.g 2680kWh vs 4572kWh) charge you more per kWh while you are in Tier 1. To really see if there is a difference you need to take the difference between Tier 1 & 2 (p/kWh) and multiply by the Tier size. You can then also compare Tier 2 prices.
