£20 Off £50 at Tesco Wine & FREE p&p !!!

I tried the use the £20 code the other day and it didnt work so I phoned them and they said they would refund the £20 once the order had been delivered but they are now refusing to do this - saying that I used a free delivery code too - but I didnt, the free delivery came off automatically. I am very cross. Need wine :mad:

Any suggestions ?

When they told you this on the phone did you request an email conformation as I did?
I never take anyone's word for anything without it being in writing, however I think you should complain to the Ho because the free delivery was a universal offer for anyone with or without a code.

There are no pre 12th Oct slots left and I therefore can't get this to work for the £20 off. Shame, my mouth was watering at the thought!

Hubby tried many times over two days to order online. It accepted the £20 code and free delivery was shown but it would not take him to the confirmation page just kept returning to the basket. He phoned C.S. on five different occasions, being told system was down etc., but so many people on here were saying they had placed an order that the system could not have been down.

Eventually the order was taken on the phone and he was told the £20 discount could not be deducted from the total but would be refunded manually to his credit card. I asked him if he requested e-mail confirmation of this but he didn't think :doh:

Delivery is for 12th October and he has the name of the person who took the order but I'm not hopeful of the refund.

I didnt get confirmation, no, I was being rushed and forgot - I usually do. I got the persons name and will complain ! Its not too bad as I did manage to place an order the following day online with a £20 off code that did work

Just had another email from Tesco, they are now refunding my £20. Yippeeeee.

Just had my first batch of the £20.00 wine delivered another batch coming tomorrow. Got some good tips off the driver about a points scam. Will have to try it and let you know if it works.

he he ..got 2 of my 3 boxes of wine today.. As they were out of stock of one box.I only had to pay £19.78 as I still got my £20 discount plus free delivery.So with my quidco discount ,that worked out at about £1.55 per bottle,and they are doing double points this week..and I got 88 points{though I cannot work out how?].........Sudden thought,do they send the missing wine at a later date?{my first tesco online order]
