GE Money finance...PPI

hi everyone,

Does anyone know how long it takes to get a response back from companys when you are claiming back ppi ?

I sent a letter off 4wks ago,
Looking at my loan policy i had took out ppi costing £330.00 of which I never asked for and was never mentioned to me.

I have never had any response for GE money not sure if I should send the letter again or does it take a while anyone know ??

Hi I cant help you at the moment - but I wonder which address you wrote to as I need to reclaim PPI from them and don't know where to send the letter!

Hi there

They have 8 weeks in full to give a response/decision, they may write to ask for more time though, if they do then they normally give a date or timescale of when you should hear.

Sorry don't knw the address of hand, would hve to pull the ppwk and have a look,

thank you for the info, I still have few weeks yet to hopefully here from them...will up date soon as I get any news. fingers crossed it is good news could do with the money !! :-)

Hi

I would ring them first, but did you post by recorded delivery?

If they confirm they have not received it, then maybe it would be a good idea to send a copy to the above, but try to find out first if you can, it may save you some time and just in case.;)
