Amex - Late Payment Marker - How to Remove?

I checked my Equifax report this evening as I haven't checked it in a while and Amex have put a late payment marker down for May 2010. I was made redundant at the start of the year and took advantage of the redundancy cover that I had with Amex whereby they cover my payments.

There were some issues around April/May time of various depts not talking to each other which resulted in a late payment. I was in touch with Amex and the insurance company at the time and fault was admitted and they reversed the late payment charges. But now I'm stuck with this marker on my file.

Is it easy to get this removed? Is it just a case of writing to them? What's my best course of action?
