A copy of my CCA was sent to an unrelated third party

Hello to all, this is my first post on money saving expert.
I will make this long story short. Basically I took out a loan with HFC bank a while back. I was paying them the full amount up until recently when npower hit me with a huge bill which then took precedence over hfc but i was still paying them little bits. Anyway cut to just before christmas 2009 where hfc passed the matter onto restons solicitors.
Following the letters I wrote to restons asking for a copies of the consumer credit agreements that refer to the loans. As I hadnt signed the letter restons would not comply with my request (I did not sign the letter at the advice of another website) and from christmas until recently restons would not comply. I eventually sent restons a signed letter requesting my cca agreement and this was received through the post.
However, and this is where I am getting to, I received a letter last week from restons which says the following "It is with regret that I must advise you that it has come to my attention that a letter addressed to you together with a copy of your credit agreement has been received by an unrelated third party. This was caused by simple human error at this office. I fully appreciate the upset and distress that this may cause to you and would offer my unreserved apology".
.....Managing Director.
I have hunted high and low on the internet to see if there is a letter to send to restons (and hfc) concerning the above matter. Obviously some extremely sensitive information regarding myself has been seen by someone that should not have seen this.
Could someone help with drafting a letter to send to restons and offer any advice as to what I need to do now. Any help will be gratefully received.

Not too sure what you want to send the letter for. They have stated that they have made an mistake. The only thing I would suggest is to make a complain to the ICO who govern the DPA. you can do this online. This will ensure that restons have done the same ( they are compelled to inform the ICO of what they have done. Otherwise it would appear that if their apology is not enough that you seem to want compensation.0
