QickQuid

My OH had a loan with SickQuid for xxx pounds with interest it is now xxx +xxx pounds which we may be able to pay, but they go on to say

"Our records also indicate you have a default balance of £102.00."

which I will not pay as we havnt been notified of it or how they come to that amount. We have asked them for a breakdown and still await a reply.

We intend paying the requested amount. but will not pay this extortionate amount. Any advice or anyone with similar experience.

Thanks

You're going to have to clarify a little... What was the original amount, what was the loan "cost" and has the loan been defaulted on or not? If not then I am struggling to see what it's about...
If the original loan WAS defaulted on then this is more than likely their many added charges etc which will be outlined in the contract... payday companies are notoriously sneaky and will have guarantees allowing them to withdraw money from accounts... I'm almost amazed they haven't already?

  • We closed the bank account as another company helped itself sending the account into the red with charges. How that happened is a mystery still.

But after sending us a paypal link we attempted to pay off the debt and not the default balance and found that the paypal link was for 102 pounds and that that had to be paid off first which we did. We had to fight for the second paypal link and then paid that off.

Very difficult, no nasty, company to deal with if you owe them.
