Hi,I'm in Northern Ireland.
I left my car in a car park today for an hour and I admit I was parked over the white line into the bay in front of me slightly but I received a £60 parking ticket (£30 if I pay within a fortnight)
Is there anything I can do to appeal this as it galls me to think I have to pay all that money out for being a few inches over a line.
The ticket was issued by the roads service.
Thanks for advance for any advice, after reading bits on here I'm going to write and request a photograph to back up the ticket and also evidence of where it says all cars must be within the bays.
After looking on the Google street for the car park there are plenty of cars that are too long to fit within the bay, is it worth mentioning that on my letter?

Re-post this on the parking forum at www.pepipoo.com, including photos of the ticket (front and back). The members on there are very knowledgeable, and will be able to assist.0

Got to second Sarah, not many people on here have experience with Northern Ireland.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
