I have an iphone 3GS and had it linked in to my wireless router at home. I had a problem with the phone and had to reset everything so obviously when I went online on my phone I had to reconnect it. Thats when the problems began
When it asked me for my password I looked on the back of the router and put down the password but the phone keeps asking me for it even though its the right one I am putting in and have even done it in upper and lower case.
Can anyone tell me where I am going wrong please
If it helps by internet provider is Talk Talk and my phone is with o2

was the password on the back of the router the wireless password or was it the password that you use to log in to the router to change settings, if it was parked something like WPA/WPA2 AES PSK (any of those letters it is the wireless password) if it just says password then it is likely the router admin password.0 -
The password on the back was the password I used to connect my phone to the router before my phone was having problems so it should work again. But alas, no, it doesn't lol. Its a strange one. All was well untill I had to restore my phone to its factory settings0

how did you restore your phone? on the phone or using itunes and clicking restore, if it was the first do it again through itunes, or if it was through itunes it wouldnt do any harm to restore it again, as it may have been a bad restore.
you could also try the forget all networks setting and retype the settings again, or you can type all the settings in manually by clicking other network and not clicking your wifi when it scans and shows it in the wifi settings.0 -
Oh and just checked the passwords on the back and the router password is admin and the wireless password is a whole load of letters that would look great on Countdown0

The other problem with this, which I really should've mentioned earlier is, the reason for no connection is because it keeps telling me my password is wrong when its not :-(
Will try the restore through itunes now.
Fingers crossed0
