Fridge Man

I'm just venting sorry.

I rent a flat managed on behalf of the landlord by a management agency. This is usually fine.

Last week, someone from there phoned to say I was getting a new fridge. Great thinks I, as my fridge is a bit dodgy and the freezer box door doesn't shut properly.

Then, this morning, I get a phone call from the same person saying they had a fridge for me. Except I was already in work. He asked if he could get the keys from the agency. I said fine, but my house was a mess, the fridge wasn't emptied because I wasn't expecting it. And could they go after 2pm because my OH was preparing for an interview and didn't need to be disturbed.

So now the fridge man calls saying he's outside my house and no one was answering! I probably didn't explain myself earlier properly because his line was crackly. I said I was in work. He asked when I could get home. I have now sent him to go and get my keys from the agency. But I'm annoyed at the disruption and the fact that I wasn't listened to!

Also, if I'd've had notice, I could've arranged to be at home to wait for the fridge myself and not had this little irritation in my day.:mad:

Harumph!!

Sorry, I feel better now. Not looking for sympathy but looking for a vent!

haha! I was yesterday!

Still, new fridge is LOVELY and the freezer-box door even closes!! (the last one I'd used blue tack to help keep it closed...)
