She is also one of THE most difficult 9 year olds to buy for.
She's in the 'tween' stage. But she'll still play dollies with her 2 year old sister ;)
All I've got her so far is a Perfume Factory set. I'd get her the dolls (as above) but I know they'd just end up under her bed with the rest of them.... Any ideas?? :o

have u saw these annabell tweens? i bought one for my 9 yr old niece as she still a dolly girl lol

  • Anyone, got any ideas what I can get for my 12 year old son! Really struggling this year, all he wants to do is play PS3 games and I don't wanna just get him that! Got some Star Wars lego, but nothing else yet and will have to give lists to grand parents and aunts and uncles soon.

Thanks for the suggestions. He already has goal for the garden, never heard of hexbug nano, so will have a look at those :)

He's not really interested in the Tech Deck, I think they look really cool though.

It's so hard this year, even with the PS3 games he only plays on the same game all the time. :(

    I know, I am struggling.
Has he a football team - got mine duvet, sleeping bag, football bag etc last year. Also the new boots he wanted.

They had a pool table as a joint present (we had the space) for when mates came round.

Does he like science, some experiments kits etc

build a combustion engine if he likes cars

experience gifts like buy a gift do, quad bikes, carts etc if anything in your area, normally some discount about

He's going to sound really spoilt now, but he has already got a pool table.

He does like science, in fact it is his favourite subject! The science experiments idea looks good, thanks. :)

He has got a favourite football team, have already thought of buying items to do with that, although he doesn't support one of the "big four", so it is harder to find items, unless they are direct from the club shop, then it makes it more expensive :(

I have just ordered him from Amazon a Nerf Dart Tag FuryFire set, which is a 2 player shooting game, which looks really cool. Only £17.99 at Amazon, price in Argos was £39.99!!!

    Thanks for the ideas :j

  • I can't believe we're approaching Christmas again but I have to admit I'm looking forward to it !! I'm hoping to avoid queuing up outside of Toys R Us at daft o'clock like I did last year to get an adventure ball for the go go hamsters. I have already got a chatimal, got him on offer at Play and I've picked up a lalaloopsy doll ... do people think they're going to be popular ? I think they are a bit odd but my little girl likes Coraline so I'm sure she'll love their button eyes. Managed to get barbie's swimming pool on offer at Argos but I'm struggling for ideas this year.

Monster High Dolls....have struggled to get all four of them..now i have i want to keep them and not give to my 7 Yo ...there a whole cult following and it hits screens in October,it is going to be HUGE!have watched the few stores online that stock them get stock in and its gone in seconds...TRus getting them in october apparently.

Certainly looks like something my daughter would like - I see there's one called Draculaura, and my daughter's called Laura.

If you buy one from Argos, if it isn't the one you want, can you tell them you don't want it?
