I'm going to take a chance and NOT get any of them and hope my 5 yr old DD doesn't tell me she wants them on 20th December...........
My friend has two girls aged 4 and 5 so I asked if she thought they would like them for xmas. She said that they really loved their Disney Princess dolls and despite being given Bratz dolls last year, they never played with them (probably because they don't watch the Bratz cartoon) but still play with their disney princess ones.:snow_laug Maximouse loves the build up to Christmas :santa2:0 -
Haven't used Toyopia before but I can confirm that they deliver fast. Ordered one of those Deuce / clio monster dolls sets on Monday afternoon and received today. Okay, probably paid a bit over the RRP but at least I've got it and can stop looking LOL

Yes my 6 year old DD wasn't too keen on the look of them - they have fangs!
She plays with Barbie's though - think they may be more exciting for older girls0 -

Response from Smyths toys about the chatimals not being available to order online now. They had a limit of 5 per order when we first mentioned it on this site. There was no restriction on multiple orders. They were overrun with orders and many people made more than one order. Those that just placed one order will probably receive their chatimals. It looks like those who made multiple orders will have the money returned to their bank and their whole order cancelled as they do not have the stock to fulfil bulk orders and want as many customers as possible to get a chatimal. They now have NO chatimals to sell online. They said they are getting some more stock in and this may be online on Friday. However, there will be a restiction of 1 or 2 per order and no multiple orders will be allowed.:snow_laug Maximouse loves the build up to Christmas :santa2:0

I must say I didn't think kids would really like them- I on the other hand had an obsession with monsters as a kid and found my Barbies really dull. I would have loved them at that age. Heck I still love them. I'm still fighting with the desire to buy at least one but at the same time being a cheap skate and not wanting to pay 20+.
Typically there was one in stock at an Argos near me on Friday but I didn't think I'd have a chance to go into town. I did after all on Saturday but of course I hadn't reserved it, so it had gone. I also had an email from Argos saying they were available for home delivery but they were long gone by the time I opened my inbox.
If anyone's kids get bored of their Monster High dolls come boxing day let me know0 -

I didn't even know there was a Bratz cartoon!I might be a mean mummy but I just think they're awful. I almost feel like if I bought them I'd be endorsing a Kim Kashardian kind of lifestyle (who BTW I don't watch either but its hard to miss her online!) of complete materialism. I do understand its quite a lot of pressure to be putting on one little doll's head, LOL!

My DD doesn't really play will dolls per se, she is more interested in their clothes. Most of the time the poor little dolls are naked and end up being used as bath toys. So £20 seems a lot to be paying for a bath toy with fangs........but presumably that's only in my house, LOL!0 -

:rotfl:lol! Barbie's hardly a great role model to endorse either but after years of buying expensive baby dolls for my DD I'm quite relieved to be buying fashion dolls now to be honest!
However she's a bit young for Monster High dolls - they are not quite pretty enough for her :rotfl:0 -

lol! My DD's 7 next March and up until very recently she was only interested in baby born and various other baby dolls - she likes putting them in their outfits and role play being a mummy.
Now is acting out scenarios with Barbie0
