Hope it's ok to ask you toy experts- my dd want's a kitchen for xmas, she is a tall 5 (prob more size 7or 8 just to give you an idea sizewise) a lot of the kitchens seem as if they might be a bit small for her & tbh we don't have lot's of space for 1 anyway, I thought this kind of thing might be good but the price is a bit ouchy. Has anyone seen a toy kitchen that they think would suit a 5yr old but doesn't take up loads of space. Thank's in advance for any help.
Im selling mine on ebay if your interested bought last year £120 from GLTC selling for £50. Its the red retro kitchen.0 -
thanks for this info but i already bought the doll!
when i looked in toys r us for the stroller i saw the horse that goes with it (and that does come with the doll) and was wondering if argos don't get the stroller in soon if i should take the doll back and exchange for something else and buy the horse and doll instead
i'm going to check out home and bargains anyway so thanks for that:T
The stroller is good for them learning to walk, as alternative to walker, but not really much good after for pram use, because it doesn't push around easy (so they don't go flying when learning to walk) I haven't seen horse.....hope you get a bargain:)0 -
What about these two. Neither of them take up much space. Sorry link has not worked. I will try again.

There is a Home Bargains opening in town soon & a B&M so I will have a nose in those before we buy something online just in case they have something.Booo!!!0 -
Thank you, wonder if they might be a bit short though, will check out the hello kitty 1 if I see it elsewhere, unfortunately I refuse to shop in Toysrus after having to get trading standards involved to get a refund from them after they sold me a dangerous buggy. .
my daughter is also very tall and have struggled with kitchens .... but i can tell you that the hello kitty kitchen is very very small, i believe its designed for the toddler market more 1 - 2 yrs if that helps any .... my daughter has the peppa pig kitchen its getting a bit small now but has been fine0 -

Do like the look of that, can't believe how well it folds down, def putting that on the list.
Ooooh don't tempt me, just looked at the gltc sight that is a gorgeous kitchen, but I think it would take up too much space.

My dd has this one, I know the price seems steep but they do offer codes all the time so you could get a good deal. For example I have recently had codes sent for £20 off £50 spend. It doesn't take up a huge amount of space and is big enough for an older child, it has enough space within it to store a decent amount of play bits too http://www.vertbaudet.co.uk/play-kitchenette.htm?ProductId=618953128&t=6#
The red retro one is really lovely, we couldn't get it for dd as she is too small to reach to higher levels on it, if you had space for it I would defo say thats a winner for older children as a friend of mine has it and all the kids play with it.0 -
