Hello,
I recently had a samsung c-20 bought for me for my birthday from curries.
The camera is miles from what i need and the quality is far from great but from what i have read this is normal.
I wouldn't have opened the box but had the family sitting on the edge of their seats asking me if it was the right one, what could i say, 'no'?
any way, where do i stand if i try to take it back and replace it with some thing better.
I get the feeling that as i have used it i have lost any rights to a refund or a change of item.

As you didn't actually buy it. You don't have any legal rights.
And as it isn't faulty or not as described, then even the purchaser has no legal rights to return it.
SorryIf it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands
