Hi there,

We have just returned from holiday, Our credit card payment is due by the 1st of October. I have paid it today, Do you know how long it will take to reach my account? I have paid it in the bank.

To answer that question you need to give the exact card details and the exact method/amount of payment ? There are numerous variations as to whether it will or won't get there in time.

It is a mbna mastercard, i went into the bank and paid it with the statement the balance was paid in full.x

OK, for future refrence MBNA accept faster payments. The quickest way to pay if getting close to the due date is by transferring the funds using your own online bank account as providing you send it before 5pm it will be credited that day and available to see online by the following day. Otherwise it's as per (see NOTE D) ;-

So your payment will show on your account this thursday with a credit date of wednesday, therefore in time.

Why don't you set up a DD to pay off the monthly statement. No worries about payment dates then!
