Is there a rough figure of having central heating on all day?

Why not just carry out your own empirical investigation? Variations between make up of homes and comfort levels wanted make any estimate suggested by us rubbish. Just read your meter on a day to day or session to session basis to see how much you spend and whether you want to continue or alter settings.0

Tricky one this because it would obviously depend on the temperature outside.
To give you some idea our cental heating goes on at 7 am and off again at 1030 pm. We have a 3 year old condensing boiler and 10 radiators. During the very cold spell we had last winter, when the boiler was working its hardest we used about 700kwh per week, ie about 100 per day average.0
